Close-Up magic for Surrey's best venues
Surrey events tend to happen in beautiful places: country house hotels, converted barns in the Surrey Hills, golf clubhouses and racecourse suites. Close-up magic suits them perfectly. Matt Parro moves between groups and tables performing magic that happens in your guests’ own hands, with their phones, their rings and their thoughts, so every group gets a moment of its own.
Matt has performed at hundreds of Surrey events, split almost evenly between corporate events, weddings and milestone birthdays. That means summer parties and product launches in Weybridge and Esher, weddings at Botley Hill and Farnham Castle, and 50th, 60th and 70th birthday parties from Cobham to the Surrey Hills.
Whatever the room, the performance is shaped around your timings, your guests and your venue, and it works for every age, from 18th birthdays to grandparents.
The guests are famous. The reaction is the same.

Every Surrey booking is quoted individually, because the fee depends on the date, how long you’d like Matt to perform, the number of guests and the type of event. Send your details for a clear quote.
Which parts of Surrey do you cover?
All of it. Matt regularly performs in Guildford, Woking, Weybridge, Cobham, Esher, Epsom, Dorking, Reigate and Farnham, at venues in the Surrey Hills, and at private homes across the county.
Can you perform at a Surrey wedding?
Yes. Around a quarter of Matt’s Surrey bookings are weddings, at venues such as The Barn at Botley Hill, Farnham Castle and St George’s Hill. Magic works best during the drinks reception, while photos are being taken, and between courses. See the wedding magician page.
Do you perform at corporate events and summer parties?
Yes. Matt performs at company summer parties, client dinners, product launches and Christmas parties across Surrey, including at racecourses such as Sandown Park and Epsom Downs. See the corporate magician page.
Is the magic suitable for a mixed-age birthday party?
Yes. Matt performs for adults first, but the magic works for every age in the room, from 18th birthdays to 70th birthday lunches, and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. He is not a children’s entertainer.
How long do you perform for?
Typically between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on your event and guest numbers. Matt will suggest the timings that let him reach every guest.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for summer Saturdays and December, which book up first. If your date is close, it’s still worth asking.
Do you perform outside Surrey?
Yes. Matt performs all over London and the UK, and internationally. See the London magician page.
Other areas Matt covers
As well as Surrey, Matt performs across London, the South East and the rest of the UK.
