How far in advance should I book a Christmas party magician?
As early as you can. December is the busiest month of the year, and the Thursday and Friday nights in the first three weeks are usually the first to go. If your date is close, it’s still worth asking.
When during the party should the magic happen?
Most organisers book Matt for the drinks reception and between courses, when guests are mingling or seated. A short featured mind reading moment after dinner or before the awards works brilliantly too.
How long do you perform for?
Typically between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on your guest numbers and running order. Matt will suggest the timings that let him reach every guest.
Will magic work at a big, noisy office party?
Yes. Close-up magic is performed to small groups at a time, so it works even when the room is loud. For very large parties, Matt can arrange a team of magicians.
